On Saturday, August 5th, the 17th Mendinitsa-Fthiotida Road Race will be organized by the APOLLOΝ DYTIKIS ATTIKIS Running Club. The race covers a distance of 13,700 meters, passing through the beautiful forest of Kallidromos. Simultaneously, there will be a race for children up to 15 years old, covering a distance of 1,700 meters, running around the village. The starting point and finish line for both routes will be at the central square of Mendinitsa.
The 13,700-meter race will begin at 18:00, and the children’s race will start at 17:30.
The race route is one of the most scenic in the area, winding through the ancient fir trees of Kallidromos, allowing participants to experience the natural landscape while running. After the race, there will be a celebration.
The participation fee for the 13,700-meter race is 8€, while the children’s race is free of charge.
