4th Thrace Night Run

The Thrace Night Run 2024: The 4th Night Race of Thrace in Alexandroupolis is coming on April 13th! The event is organized by the Athletic Association “Runner of Thrace”, with the support of the Municipality of Alexandroupolis and the ESA SEGAS AN.MAK.THRAKIS. The start and finish of the races will take place on the coastal avenue of Alexandroupolis. The race is supported by the Deputy Ministry of Sports (GGA), the National Olympic Academy, and the Democritus University of Thrace.

Athletes will compete in two different distances, 5km and 10km, with routes on a circular path of 5km length. The 5000-meter race will start at 19:00, followed by the 10,000-meter race at 20:00. The starting and finishing point for all routes will be on the Coastal Avenue of Alexandroupolis.

• 5km WOMEN: Eirini Palazi (20:23)

Apart from the race, participants have the opportunity to explore the city of Alexandroupolis and its surroundings. Some landmarks include the lighthouse, the thermal baths of Evros, the Archaeological Museum of Mesimvria, the border-crossing Panagia Kosmosotira, the Ethnological Museum of Thrace, and the enchanting Delta of Evros.
