Get ready for the 3rd Kalyvas Lazaros Road Race on July 22nd, right in the heart of summer. This exciting event promises to provide a first-hand experience of running in the stunning natural surroundings of Kozani.
No matter your athletic background, individual needs, or abilities, there are three different races to fulfill all preferences. Specifically, a 10.2km race and a 4km race will take place at 19:00 and 19:20 respectively.
Additionally, there will be a kids race covering a distance of 1400m, starting at 18:00. All races will have as starting and finishing point the Agia Paraskevi Park. This event is organized in collaboration with AO KROKOU, the local community of KROKOU, and with the support of volunteers from the area.
A race is more than simply reaching the finish line; it’s about the personal journey of self-discovery. It’s about the connections you make with fellow participants, with whom you’ll share a part of your life throughout the duration of the race. These individuals may even become lifelong friends, united by your shared love for running.
Whatever your motivation may be, remember that the first step is to make the decision of taking part in a running race. Whether you run with friends or go solo, the starting line is where you should be!
