On October 29 we’ll be excited to see the brave runners on the starting line of Sfakia Sky Marathon in Crete. This is a marathon distance mountain running race in the southern part of the White Mountains in the district of Sfakia, Chania. The challenging route is 43 km, starting at sea level with the highest peak of 2,454m.
“Our sports club, Arkalos, keeps the tradition of trail events alive in the most astonishing places of the mountainous Creta. We want our runners to enjoy the race and the amazing environment of Sfakia’s mountain. It’s a challenging route, but the breathtaking view deserves the effort. We can’t wait to see all of you for another amazing running experience in the heart of the mountain!” Says the organizer Antonis Protopapadakis.
