EEA ATHENS RUN 2024: A Unique Running Experience for Everyone at Pedion tou Areos
The Athens Chamber of Tradesmen (EEA) is pleased to announce the “EEA ATHENS RUN 2024” Race. This major sporting event will take place on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Pedion tou Areos, with the goal of bringing together athletes, amateur runners, and children of all ages in a celebration of sports and well-being.
Race Distances and Categories:

3-kilometer race: Ideal for those who want to test their strength in a short but challenging route.

6-kilometer race: For more experienced runners, this distance offers an endurance challenge in one of Athens’ most beautiful parks.

1,000-meter children’s race: Open to all children up to 12 years old, aiming to encourage young people to love sports.
Start and Finish:
All routes will start and finish at a central point in Pedion tou Areos, offering participants the opportunity to enjoy the park’s natural beauty. The starting times for the races are as follows:

3 kilometers: Start at 10:30 a.m.

6 kilometers: Start at 11:15 a.m.

1,000 meters (children’s race): Start at 11:00 a.m.
Eligibility to Participate:
The races are open to everyone! Eligible to participate in the 3 and 6-kilometer races are members of the EEA, employees of EEA member businesses, gym members, amateur runners, middle and high school students, and anyone who loves running. In the 1,000-meter children’s race, all children up to 12 years old can participate under the responsibility of their parents.
