8th Run Doliana

The 8th Doliana Mountain Half Marathon is coming on June 30, 2024, in Ano Doliana, Kynouria!

K.P.S. Doliana Kynouria,” the Municipality of Northern Kynouria, the A.S. Doliana “Nikitara,” the Doliana Cultural Association, and the Doliana Primary School Parents & Guardians Association, in collaboration with the EAS SEGAS Peloponnese Region, are pleased to announce the “8th Doliana Mountain Half Marathon.

Available routes:

• 21 km
• 5 km
• Children’s race 1000m

The Mountain Half Marathon will cover a total distance of 21.1 kilometers. Most of the route consists of dirt roads and trails. Along the route, there will be signs and kilometer markers at each kilometer, while on the dirt road section, white markers will indicate the direction. In specific places, there will be red marking ribbons.

The route map, elevation differences, and detailed route information are available at www.rundoliana.gr. The 5 km route is certified according to World Athletics – AIMS standards.

Ano Doliana is a picturesque, stone-built village in the Northern Kynouria region of Arcadia. In winter, it is inhabited by a few permanent residents, while in summer and spring, it attracts many visitors due to its prime geographical location and traditional beauty. In recent years, Ano Doliana has experienced significant tourism development, with increased visitor numbers on weekends, especially during the autumn and winter seasons, as well as hikers in spring.
