Dafninos Agonas Rhodescape Lake & Mountain Run

Rhodes hosts one of the most thrilling races on the island, the 2nd Dafni Rhodescape Lake & Mountain Run 2024. On Sunday, May 12, 2024, runners will gather at the Apollakia Dam to take on the challenge of this unique race.

The Apollakia Dam, with its artificial lake, is a beautiful wetland, unique on the island. Its environmental value, derived from its special flora and fauna, has integrated it into the Natura 2000 network as a protected area.

On the morning of the race, runners will start and finish at the outdoor space of Rhodescape. The route they will follow is circular, covering 10,000m, with a maximum incline of +41.0% and -34.0%, an average incline of +6.7% and -6.7%, and an elevation gain-loss of 386m -386m.

Runners will have the opportunity to choose from the following routes:

• 20km

• 10km

• 5km

• Children’s race 1.5km
