Afternoon Road Race 4 & 8 Kilometers: Gift Life, Become an Organ, Tissue & Cell Donor!
The “Julia & Alexander N. Diomidis Foundation” in Chaidari is hosting this year’s Afternoon Road Race of 4 & 8 Kilometers, which will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2024.
Participants will have the option to choose between two different routes:
– 4-kilometer route
– 8-kilometer route
All participants will have the opportunity to support the valuable purpose of the event, as the race is dedicated to the Donation of Organs, Tissues & Cells for Transplants.
BE ACTIVE DAY 2024
The Afternoon Road Race is part of the European Week of Sport and the program of actions, activities, and events of “BE ACTIVE DAY 2024”. In this way, we promote the importance of physical activity for health and well-being.
BE ACTIVE DAY 2024 contributes to increasing participation in the field of physical fitness and sports during the European Week of Sport (EWoS), with the main goal of making more people, more active, more often.
The initiative promotes physical activity as a tool for health through the main message #STAYACTIVE, promoting greater participation in physical activity events. The action focuses on reducing barriers to physical activity for people with disabilities and limiting the ecological footprint of events.
