Saronic Road 2024: An Exciting Challenge
On Sunday March 31st, runners from all over Greece will gather for one of the most historic ultra-distance road races, the Saronic Road. Being the 4th oldest in Greece, this event promises to be an unforgettable experience for them participants.
The Saronic Road is organized by the respected APS association APOLLON of Western Attica, who this year celebrates 26 years since its establishment, with the support of the Municipalities of Megara and Elefsina. The race will offer an unrepeatable route, which will highlight the beauty and history of the area. The route of the race goes through its beautiful coastline of the Saronic Gulf, as well as from important points such as the historical Elefsina, the shipyards, the shipwreck (Euptaxia), Loutropyrgos and Vareas beach.
The start of the race will be given at 7:00 in the morning from the archaeological site of Elefsina, with the finish being at the national stadium of Megarei.
