On Sunday, October 1st, 2023, the beautiful town of Antikyra in the region of Viotia will host a series of exciting road races, making this day a celebration of sports for all ages!
The available race routes are:
• Half Marathon: starting and finishing at Elan Square, in the Antikyra Elementary School. Participants will have the opportunity to discover the magic of the half marathon as they run along the beautiful coastline on a certified course.
• 5K Race, which will start at 09:00 from Elan Square and cover an asphalt road with stunning views of the sea.
• For young athletes, there is also a 1,200-meter race starting at 08:40. This race is open to participants of all ages and will take place along the coastal road with a turnaround point at the “Saloon.”
The organization of this running event is another reason to discover Antikyra, a beautiful seaside community that offers amazing beaches and delicious food. This charming coastal village is just 10 kilometers away from Distomo and 27 kilometers from Athens, making it an ideal place for a day trip from the city.
