On September 24th, we are running in the Skiathos Trail Run! With 6 routes for adults and children, everyone is sure to find the race that suits them!
The start of the international half-marathon mountain running, 24 km, will be given at the Old Port in front of the Bourtzi. The route consists of 90% forest and mountain trails and 10% asphalt. It is a beautiful route that connects the town of Skiathos with the medieval town of the island, the unparalleled and wild beauty of the Castle, showcasing both the natural beauty of the island’s interior and its cultural heritage. The Urban Trail 10 km starts at Bourtzi. Runners will cross an exciting route through the streets of the city and around the lake.
Anyone 16 years and older can participate in the race. In parallel, there will be an 800 m race, with the valuable assistance of escorts along the old port of Skiathos.
Various running races ensure that all our young friends will run on routes made for them! Specifically: a 500 m race for children in grades A’, B’, and C’ of elementary school, 1000 m for students in grades D’ to F’ of elementary school, and 1,500 m for children in grades A’, B’, and C’ of high school. Participation for all children is free.
Skiathos is a picturesque gem nestled in the heart of the Aegean Sea, renowned for its natural beauty and vibrant Mediterranean atmosphere. This Greek island, which is part of the Sporades archipelago, captivates visitors with its stunning sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush green landscapes. We also want to inform you that this year’s discounts for athletes, escorts (over 10 years old, as 0-4 are free and 4-10 have 50%), and their vehicles are from September 20th to 28th, by company, as follows:

To take advantage of the above discounts, you must first complete your registration and then send an email to ecozinskiathos@gmail.com with the following details:
• Names and ages of all individuals traveling (adults & minors)
• Ship and port to Skiathos and from Skiathos (if you are not returning to the same port)
• Itineraries that suit you with departure and return dates and times
• Contact phone number, preferably mobile
• Vehicle license plate (if applicable)
We will then inform the company with your details and respond to you by email from which cooperating agency you will purchase your tickets with the relevant discount.
