On Sunday, July 30, 2023, we will be running in Nestoria 2023. The Municipality of Pylos-Nestor is organizing running races of 8km, 1000m, and 400m as part of its cultural events. The start and finish point of all routes will be at the Central Square of Chora. At the finish line, athletes will be provided with fresh local fruits and water.
Nestoria 2023 offers running enthusiasts the opportunity to participate in an 8km running race/walk at 19:00 in the historical town of Pylos. At the same time, they promise to give our little friends a chance to get a taste of the racing events with the 1000m races for elementary and middle school children at 19:05, and the 400m races for 4-6-year-olds at 19:20. An awards ceremony will follow after the completion of the races.
Participation in the races is free, as the event’s expenses are covered by the generous sponsorship of the Municipality of Pylos-Nestor.

Additionally, it is the largest natural harbor in the Peloponnese and one of the most interesting tourist destinations in Messenia, offering not only fascinating sights but also beautiful beaches to enjoy the sun and the sea.
