On August 5th, don’t miss the 3rd Gyros Sidirokastrou road race. Join us this first weekend of August, as we run on the graphic roads of Sidirokastro.
Whether you’re young or old, and regardless of your sports background, this organization offers something for everyone! The races kick off with a 50m race for preschool kids at 19:00, followed by a 1km race for elementary school children at 19:30.
Are you an experienced runner? Great, you have the 10km waiting for you. Do you want to start running and you are wondering where to participate? Then, the 4km race is made just for you. The abovementioned races start at 20:00. All races have as a starting and finish point the Central Market of Sidirokastro, Municipality of Trifilias.
The 3rd Gyros Sidirokastrou race is organized by the Folkloric Ethnographic Association of Sidirokastro (DIMOSTHENIS KAKKAVAS) in collaboration with the Association of Sidirokastrians in Athens and the Local Community, with the support of the Peloponnese Region and the Social Enterprise of the Municipality of Trifilia.
Even during the summer, our running spirit remains active and alive. There’s a drive within us that keeps us moving forward and won’t rest till we run! So, mark your calendars, lace up your shoes, and register here to be part of the 3rd Gyros Sidirokastrou race. See you there!
