The thrilling 2nd Sterea Run- Night Run of Karpenisi is coming back this year on July 15, 2023. Be ready to experience the magic of night running!
The 2nd Sterea Run- Night Run of Karpenisi offers three racing events, allowing participants of all ages and backgrounds to find the perfect challenge for themselves. The action starts at 19:30 with the 1000m race for elementary school children, followed by the race for middle school children at 19:45. Our young athletes will have a unique opportunity to get a taste of what it means to be part of a running community.
The 10km and 5km races will start at 20:00 and 20:07 respectively. Markos Botsaris Square serves as the starting and finishing point for all races, that will be conducted on the illuminated, asphalt roads, of the city, forming a circular route.
The 2nd Sterea Run-Night Run of Karpenisi is created by The Sports Club Karpenisi 2002 in collaboration and with the support of the Region of Sterea Ellada, the Municipality of Karpenisi, and under the auspices of EAS SEGAS Eastern Sterea – Evia.
In addition to its beautiful natural landscapes and architecture, Karpenisi is also famous for its local delicacies. Don’t miss the chance to try the local dishes after the race.
